FAQ

Everything researchers most often ask us — testing and documentation, ordering and delivery, payments, and how to store material once it arrives. If your question isn’t here, email support@lbproducts.org and we’ll answer it directly.

Products & testing

What we supply, how it is verified, and who it is for.

Are your products for human or veterinary use?+
No. Every product sold by LB Products is intended strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research use only. Our compounds are not drugs or supplements, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and are not for human or veterinary consumption. The full terms are in our Research Use Only compliance policy.
What does “third-party tested” mean?+
Every production lot is sent to an independent, accredited laboratory that runs HPLC to measure purity and Mass Spectrometry to confirm the compound’s identity and molecular weight. Because the testing is done by an outside lab rather than in-house, the results are objective — and each batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis tied to it.
What purity can I expect?+
Our compounds are certified to a minimum of 99% purity by HPLC. The exact figure for your lot is listed on that batch’s Certificate of Analysis, so you always know precisely what you received. Lots that test below 99% are rejected and never listed for sale.
What do HPLC and Mass Spectrometry actually measure?+
They answer two different questions. HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) separates everything present in the sample and reports the peak area of the target compound as a percentage — that is the purity number. Mass Spectrometry measures molecular weight, confirming the material is the compound it claims to be and not a similar-looking substitute. Purity without identity is meaningless, which is why we require both.
Where do I find a product’s Certificate of Analysis (COA)?+
Visit our COAs page, find your compound in the product directory, and request the report for your batch or lot number. If you can’t locate the one you need, email support@lbproducts.org with your order or batch number and we’ll send it over.
Where are your peptides manufactured?+
Our materials are produced in the USA through established partnerships with accredited manufacturing facilities, then independently tested before release. Batch traceability is maintained from production through to the lot number printed on your vial.
Who is allowed to buy from LB Products?+
You must be at least 21 years of age, and products are sold to qualified research customers — laboratories, academic researchers, biotech organizations, contract research organizations, and similar buyers — who accept full responsibility for safe, lawful handling. See our Terms of Service for the complete eligibility terms.

Ordering

Placing, changing, and scaling an order.

Do I need an account to order?+
You can check out without one, but creating an account lets you review past orders, re-order quickly, and keep your batch records and COA requests in one place. Sign in or register from the My Account page.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?+
Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of placement. After that they enter processing and can no longer be changed or cancelled. If you need to correct something, email support@lbproducts.org immediately with your order number.
What if the compound I want is out of stock?+
Stock moves in production lots, so items do sell out between batches. Email us with the compound you’re after and we’ll tell you when the next lot is expected and let you know as soon as it is released.
Do you offer bulk, repeat, or institutional pricing?+
Yes. For larger volumes, standing repeat orders, or purchases that need to run through an institutional purchasing process, contact support@lbproducts.org and we’ll put together pricing and any documentation your procurement team requires.

Shipping & delivery

How orders are processed, packed, and tracked.

How fast do orders ship?+
All orders are processed within 48 hours of payment confirmation, Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.
Which carriers do you use, and how long does delivery take?+
We ship via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Domestic delivery typically runs 2 to 5 business days depending on destination. Full detail is on our Shipping Policy page.
Is shipping free?+
Free shipping applies automatically to orders over $250. Below that threshold a flat rate is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
How do I track my order?+
A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order ships. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier’s tracking information to begin updating.
Can you ship to a P.O. box?+
No. A physical commercial or residential address is required for all orders — our carriers cannot deliver research shipments to P.O. boxes.
How are temperature-sensitive compounds shipped?+
Temperature-sensitive material ships in insulated packaging with ice packs at no additional charge. We recommend refrigerating those compounds immediately on receipt.
How are orders packaged?+
Orders are packed discreetly in protective, tamper-evident packaging designed to preserve the integrity of the material in transit, then shipped with tracked delivery so you can follow the package from our facility to your door.
Do you ship internationally?+
Our standard carriers and rates cover domestic shipments. If you need material delivered outside that range, email support@lbproducts.org before ordering and we’ll tell you what is possible for your destination.

Payments, returns & refunds

What we accept, and what happens if something goes wrong.

What payment methods do you accept?+
Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout. All prices are listed in US dollars, and payment data is handled by our payment processors — it is never stored on our servers. For a method you don’t see listed, or to arrange payment on a bulk or institutional order, contact support@lbproducts.org.
What is your return policy?+
Because of the nature of research compounds, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns on opened or used product. Returns are also not accepted on the basis of dissatisfaction with research results or outcomes. The full terms are on our Return Policy page.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect — what now?+
Contact support@lbproducts.org within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue, and we’ll send a replacement at no charge.
How long do refunds take?+
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method. Your bank may take an additional day or two to post it.

Storage & handling

Keeping material stable once it reaches your bench.

How should I store lyophilized peptides?+
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) material is stable and should be kept sealed and protected from light and moisture — refrigerated for short-term storage, frozen for longer-term storage. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles, and let a vial equilibrate to room temperature before opening it so condensation doesn’t form inside.
How long is material stable once it is in solution?+
In solution, material is far less stable than in its lyophilized state. Keep it refrigerated and protected from light, and use it within the window appropriate to that compound. Always follow your institution’s protocols for handling and documenting research materials.
What is bacteriostatic water used for?+
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing a preservative, used in laboratory settings to bring lyophilized material into solution while inhibiting bacterial growth in a multi-use vial. We stock it as a research reagent alongside the compounds; like everything else on this site, it is sold for laboratory research use only.
Is there anything I should check when my order arrives?+
Confirm that the compound name, quantity, and lot number on the label match your order, and that the vial and seal are intact. If anything looks wrong, photograph it and contact us within 48 hours.

Support

Reaching a human.

How do I contact you?+
Email support@lbproducts.org or use our contact page. Include your order or batch number where relevant and we’ll come back to you as quickly as we can, typically the same business day.
Do you answer technical questions about the compounds?+
We can answer questions about identity, purity, batch documentation, storage, and handling — the things covered by our testing and our Certificates of Analysis. We cannot advise on experimental design, dosing, or any application involving humans or animals, because our materials are not sold for those uses.

All products are sold for laboratory and in-vitro research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
